The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), a national organization that evaluates the quality of health plans, consistently rates us Excellent. Recently, NCQA awarded our Commercial HMO/POS plan a top rating of 5 out of 5,(1) making us one of only five plans out of 500 in the country that earned this rating. NCQA also rated our Commercial PPO plan 4.5 out of 5, putting both among the highest-rated health plans in the nation for quality.
Further, our Blue MedicareRx Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) received 5 Stars out of 5 Stars from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for the second year in a row, making us the top PDP plan in New England. Our Medicare Advantage HMO and PPO plans are high-rated plans at 4.5 Stars out of 5 Stars, which means that we’re also providing high-quality care for our Medicare members.(2)
